Unidentified Guest in our Backyard

We’re soaking up the springtime vibes here in Austin, TX, basking in the excitement of new blooms and a playful bunch of critters making their debut in Our Charming Backyard Butterfly Garden!

A bumblebee pollinating our blueberries and Tabasco, our Beagle.

For the past week or so, we’ve been hearing some rustling outside our bedroom window. A big shout out to our doggies for their stellar alert skills. Their barking enthusiasm sparked our curiosity to uncover the mystery guest(s). Feeling inspired we decided to amp up our detective game by installing more yard cameras to crack the case!

Our doggies: Tabasco, Sparky and Cholula

Guess who dropped by for breakfast this morning? An unidentified guest decided to feast at our bird feeder. Could it be a bat, red fox, possum, or something else entirely? Take a peek at the video captured by our Birdfy Birdfeeder and make your best guess!

Is it a possum, bat, fox or something else?

Until we identify this little cutie, I’m not convinced it’s the mystery guest outside of our window, yet.
